QNAP QSW-1208-8C is a non-switchable 12-port 10GbE switch that lets you instantly enhance your network environment at a cost-effective price. The QSW-1208-8C supports the 10GBASE-T and NBASE-T standards, allowing you to enjoy higher network speeds with existing Cat 5e and 6a cables. SFP + ports (optical fiber) and RJ-45 ports (copper) with 8 combined ports are available to satisfy a variety of networking needs. The QSW-1208-8C is compliant with the IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet, EEE) standard and is energy-efficient. The QSW-1208-8C offers high performance, low latency and outstanding features and is therefore the perfect choice for improving your home or business network to support 10GbE connectivity.
With the support of NBASE-T, existing cables can be used. Older equipment is backward compatible.
With a combination of 10G SFP + (optical fiber) and RJ-45 (copper) ports, most devices can use 10GbE from QSW-1208-8C.
The IEEE 802.3az (EEE) standard allows you to reduce power consumption for slow and idle connections.
